Airtight-Type Oil Blocking
The new-generation airtight-type oil blocking incorporates internationally advanced technology to ensure optimal sealing performance. It thoroughly resolves the issues of water ingress into the oil system and oil emulsification in steam turbine units. At the same time, it eliminates impurities generated by the carbonization of lubricating oil caused by high-temperature steam, significantly improving the lubrication quality of steam turbine generator units during operation. This design eliminates the need for long-term online oil filtration by oil purifiers, thereby reducing maintenance and operating costs, and enhancing the operational quality of steam turbine generator units.
Working Principle
The airtight-type oil blocking introduces dry compressed air into the air chamber of the seal oil blocking. The compressed air is then discharged through the distribution ports on the air chamber, thereby completely enveloping the shaft journal and thoroughly preventing steam from entering the oil system. The airtight-type oil blocking adopts a non-contact sealing method, which eliminates the risk of vibration caused by shaft wear in the unit, offering safety, energy efficiency, environmental friendliness, and a long service life.
The airtight-type oil blocking can also be configured with a reduced-diameter ring based on the customer’s site conditions to form an airtight-type combined oil blocking, thereby enhancing operational reliability.
