This equipment is a power device designed and manufactured to meet the requirements for turning and axial displacement of the steam turbine rotor main shaft during installation, as part of the maintenance process of steam turbine units. It is an essential device for checking the concentricity and axial displacement of each section of the main shaft.

When a power plant shuts down for overhaul of steam turbine units, using this equipment can greatly improve overhaul quality, shorten the overhaul period, and reduce labor intensity for workers. It completely eliminates the traditional methods of pulling the steam turbine rotor with steel wire ropes or prying it with crowbars, while also significantly enhancing the safety of maintenance work.

Performance

The electric turning gear enables low-speed rotation (0.5 rpm) of the rotor main shaft, supports forward and reverse rotation, provides precise stopping positions, and has no coasting phenomenon.

The maintenance turning gear has no crossbeam, allowing convenient and accurate inspection of various main shaft parameters.

All transmission lead screws and gears are made of alloy steel, subjected to surface heat treatment, and are free from deformation.

All electrical circuits and protections are safe and reliable, avoiding misoperation during work, and facilitating bearing installation or maintenance. When the bearing cover is opened, the turning gear does not need to be hoisted away. Even after the bearing cover is opened and issues are being addressed, measures can still be taken to continuously turn the rotor.

The maintenance turning gear is available in two types: upper-mounted type (HQJP-S) and lower-mounted type (HQJP-X).
