The cladding layer forms a metallurgical bond with the base material, with a dense structure. The repaired workpiece experiences minimal deformation. The cladding surface can be designed with high-performance characteristics such as wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and oxidation resistance according to the service requirements of the component surface, thereby improving component service life and extending workpiece working life. The overall repair effect is excellent.

Due to its process characteristics, laser cladding technology effectively achieves repair and performance optimization of worn, eroded, and corroded areas on precision, large, and valuable components such as steam turbines, compressors, and rolls.
